Newark, Delaware

Career Services, Human Resources, the Theater Department, and Public Safety (including a 24-hour, 9-1-1 center) occupy this 40,000 sq ft, two-story building attached to a concealed three-level, 350-car parking deck. The building includes sophisticated teleconferencing and training rooms, media resource rooms, security record storage, interview rooms, and locker room facilities and has state-of-the-art data cabling, voice, and communications infrastructure.

 


Newark, Delaware

Renovation and conversion of a 12,000 square foot, 2-story building comprised of modern administration facilities for three Department of Education centers.  The design solution maximized multi-purpose spaces to allow for the optimal utilization of square footage.




Aston, Pennsylvania

This new 70,000 square foot building will serve as a convocation center with two gymnasiums, modern training, weight, and cardiovascular facilities, classrooms, game rooms, multi-purpose spaces, and an indoor running track.  This project is utilizing sustainable design and construction practices and technologies; upon completion, this building will apply for certification under the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design® (LEED) program.  LEED® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Green Building Council.

 


Chester, Pennsylvania

This building was renovated to create a "one-stop-shop" for the University's Bursar, Registrar and Financial Aid offices.  The project's goals were to create a top quality space within a constrained budget while addressing multi-functional space needs.

 


Lincoln University, Pennsylvania

Renovation of a two-story laboratory building into flexible and modern computer classrooms. A new entrance design provides a new image for the building and orients the facility to the recently completed campus master plan, also designed by the firm.

 


Wilmington, Delaware

The proposed new science-oriented children’s museum on the Wilmington Riverfront is a high-tech, contemporary structure.  The building will have 15,000 square feet devoted to eight different galleries.  Exhibits include the environment, the human body, transportation, building structures, and banking.  The museum will be a destination for family outings, educational, and community events.

 


Aston, Pennsylvania

To better serve students and faculty, Neumann College has embarked on a master plan update focusing on increased quality of facilities with particular attention to student activity spaces. An expansive base plan of the campus and adjacent properties was prepared, resulting in two concept plans illustrating vehicular and land utilization potential. The master plan illustrates a vision for the campus while providing practical, short-term solutions to existing problems.

 


Lincoln, Pennsylvania

To provide for an orderly approach to future growth and expansion, Lincoln University has undertaken a master plan of its campus, which will provide the framework for planning and development decisions over the next twenty years. The scope of analysis took into consideration maximizing existing resources, improving student housing, and staying on the leading edge of emerging academic and technological development.

 


University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware

Carpenter Sports & Convocation Center was a multi-phased project, beginning with initial program determination and conceptual design presentations for the University Trustees and the Delaware Legislature. The building contains 5,000 seats for basketball and stage events as well as support facilities, including training rooms, locker rooms, and concession areas.

 


Wilmington, Delaware

An association of the Pratt Institute and Corcoran School of Art, the school is an integral part of Wilmington's revitalization efforts. The renovated, five-story art-deco building includes art studios, classrooms, computer labs, photography darkrooms, faculty and administrative space. In addition to exterior structural enhancements, decorative banners, awnings, and night lighting were installed, as well as improvements to the sidewalk and landscaping.

 


New Castle, Delaware

Renovations and an 18,000 sq ft building addition expanded the school's art and music programs facilities and provided a 450-seat auditorium. Stage design included A/V control, a suspended microphone system, acoustical treatment, and lighting control. The building addition included a multi-purpose lobby, sound-insulated music rooms, and equipment storage areas. Extensive renovations upgraded a science laboratory, greenhouse, and a computer learning center.

 


Newark, Delaware

CCIU is an educational entity dedicated to special needs children. The 58,000 sq ft renovation included fifteen additional classrooms, a therapeutic gymnasium, assembly space, instructional food service facilities, and complete reorganization of site utilization that maximized student use areas and parking efficiency.
